My name is Josh Nelson, I am the Co-Founder of JNKM Design Group, and creator of the Elevator Scene Blog. For the past decade I worked from my design studio in Toronto, Canada along with my Partner and fellow nomad Stas Ukhanov. Together we’ve created award winning public space experiences, ignited national conversations about accessibility, and championed environmental protection infrastructure projects.
Beginning earlier this year we set out on a multi-year journey around the world to document inspiring design, both in the built and natural landscape.
Join us as we document amazing design, explore innovative spaces, study sustainability projects and small craft around the world. We’ll share travel tips, interesting journeys, personal stories and more.

― Kat Lahr,
Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
