Introducitons
Hi! I’m Josh
I am a Canadian with a passion for urban design and a fascination for the world’s rich history. As a part-time world explorer and full-time design enthusiast, I am devoted to discovering and documenting the remarkable architecture that helps tell the story of our past.
For the past decade I worked from my design studio in Toronto, along with my Partner and fellow nomad Stas. Together we’ve created award winning public space experiences, ignited national conversations about accessibility, and championed environmental protection infrastructure projects.
Beginning in 2019 we set out on a multi-year journey around the world to document inspiring design. Explore the world with us and learn about new ideas, the things we are building and how you can make a difference.

Climbing Mt Marcy
Aug 11, 2018.
Mount Marcy is the highest point in the State of New York. With an elevation of 1,629 m the mountain is in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks, a region of mountains that owes much to glaciation and tectonic shifts. Its stature and expansive views make it a popular destination for hikers, who crowd its summit in the summer months. The region contains many alpine lakes and meadows, wetlands, streams, and forests.

Some Words to Live By
― Kat Lahr,
“Humans have wandered the Earth for thousands of years but never has our capacity to alter the Earth’s ecosystem at a larger scale been more prominent than it is today.”
― Charlotte Eriksson
“There’s something about arriving in new cities, wandering empty streets with no destination. I will never lose the love for the arriving, but I’m born to leave.”
― Albert Einstein
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
